The Warehousing Project is currently underway in Tanzania, focusing on high-production areas for key cash crops, particularly in the Southern Highlands regions of Iringa, Mbeya, Ruvuma, and Njombe. Recognized as the nation’s major food basket.
Our agribusiness partner, a leading agricultural services provider, specializes in large-scale modern farming to produce high-quality cash crops for export to international markets. With a strong focus on innovation, the company cultivates key crops—including maize, rice, beans, millet, and sunflower—across multiple regions in Tanzania. Through collaboration with smallholder farmers, we empower them with commercial farming skills to improve crop quality and productivity.
The Tanzanian government has significantly boosted agricultural output by providing subsidized seeds and fertilizers, leading to increased harvests. However, post-harvest losses remain a major challenge due to inadequate storage facilities. Recognizing this gap, we view farming challenges as opportunities for growth. As a pioneer in agribusiness partnerships, we are committed to constructing modern warehouses near farming communities to safeguard harvests, reduce losses, and enhance profitability for local farmers.
Currently, our partner has initiated warehouse construction in high-production zones such as Mbeya, Njombe, and Ruvuma, with expansion plans for Shinyanga, Simiyu, Katavi, and other key regions. This initiative ensures year-round availability of quality crops for both domestic and global markets, supporting food security and economic sustainability.
